Today we had a group of kids and counselors from Camp STRIVE at Unicorn Cove for a Hula lesson outside in the park with Ahura Z and Nirakazi.  STRIVE is an organization serving teens and young adults with intellectual and emotional disibilities (you can learn more about their programs on their website here). 

We have been involved with STRIVE a couple of times in the past doing Hula lessons at their location in South Portland and this time they were able to come to us!  Everyone had a lot of fun and Hula class was a hit.  Here’s what they had to say:
