His name is “Pacem”
This little guy appeared in Z’s office this afternoon and kept following Z around. He’s too little to fend for himself yet, so he has temporary housing until he’s big enough to go outside.
(why do they have to be so darned cute?)

Oh the weather outside is frightful…
…but that doesn’t mean you have to cancel your appointment at Unicorn Cove. Can’t make it in because of the weather? Or perhaps you’re interested in taking classes but live too far away to come and see us in person? No problem, you can still meet face-to-face with Ahura Z using your computer, a webcam and Skype, no matter where you are in the world.
Skype is a free service that lets you talk by way of the internet to another Skype user, anywhere in the world, for free. Your computer (or PocketPC, or even your iTouch or PSP) works as your phone. And with a webcam you can make video calls and talk face-to-face.
It’s free and easy to set up:
•Download and install the software. It automatically configures itself for your computer and network.
•Register as a Skype user with a unique username.
•Get a webcam with a built-in microphone (you can also get a headset for privacy, but it’s not necessary) and test your connection to make sure everything is properly configured.
•When it’s time for your appointment, log in to Skype and wait for us to call you. It’s that easy!
If you plan on utilizing Skype for an appointment or class with us, please wait to schedule your appointment until after you have the service set up and configured properly (when you set up your appointment with us we will need to know your Skype username so we can contact you at the appointed time).
For more information about Skype and to download the software go to www.skype.com.
PLEASE NOTE: Skype is not a viable way to contact us regularly as we currently only use it for appointments. If you need to contact us please call or email.

And 2 days later, it snows!
We got our first snow of winter tonight (only 2 days ago it was nearly 70 degrees out!). Pretty.

Beautiful day!

December??! Feels like April!!
It was a GORGEOUS day today! Almost 70 degrees this afternoon. Even at 5:30 this morning it was 50 degrees out. We had the doors and windows open all day. And there was a wonderful warm wind blowing. (For those who don’t live in Maine, we’re usually experiencing single digit temperatures this time of year with snow) We deserve it after last year’s tough winter!

The grass is still green in December!
