Rant of the Week

Greetings. There are many schools of thought on magic and mysticism. All of them are geared towards manifestation in one way or another. There are schools that bend towards the fantastic such as actually believing that you could shoot physical flames from your hand while still existing in a third-dimensional reality. And those that believe that bouncing up and down on your behind on a mattress or mat is actually a form of levitation… There are also those schools of mysticism that portend that we co-create with God or Goddess and thus vaunt ourselves to the majestic throne of demigod-ism. All of these schools of thought, while creative and inspiring, lack simple principals; foundation, practicality and reality.

We as human beings live in a third-dimensional reality and therefore, while being able to project thought-forms in the pattern of the elements, would fall victim to actual fire making prolonged contact with our flesh. If your energy field is strong enough, you may be able to withstand, momentarily, contact with fire or lightening, but truthfully, just like anything else, eventually burn!

Levitation is a process of meditation, focus and lift. Lift being the key word, not bounce. This bouncing force only serves to illustrate the ungrounded, deceptive marketing of mediocrity. Again, third-dimensional reality does dictate that what goes up within a certain gravitational structure must come down. However, levitation does not break this rule, it merely bends it. One also should consider that it is indeed possible to attach one’s energy to an alternate position within the gravity well and therefore lift oneself to that position. I welcome questions about this. All in all, levitation is to levitate, not bounce.

Finally and simply, God and Goddess are Goddess and God. They are real, not a concept. Not a bumper sticker or cool slogan. They don’t have our issues and don’t need our help in creating anything. However, they do frequently give us the opportunity to co-operate.

If we have offended anyone, it is important to know that it was not our intention, but we do not apologize. Mysticism, spirituality and magic are magnificent and real. They are also practical. So if you strive to move mountains with your mind but you can’t keep a job, or think that marijuana gave you a mystical experience and landed you in rehab, we think you should re-examine your stand…

That’s our rant.

Peace.
