There are many misunderstandings and misconceptions about unicorns; what they are, what they symbolize, where they can be found etc. Real unicorns are not dainty, delicate creatures that prance through the woods with flowers in their manes waiting to fall asleep in the lap of a virgin woman. Unicorns are warriors--note the long, sharp horn! They are fighters for the side of light, for truth and justice. The unicorn is a symbol of Christ (not the murder-weapon cross that so many use to represent someone such as Jesus the Christ). They are beings of strength and power. Unicorns are not always white! Just as people come in many colors, shapes and sizes, so do unicorns. As it is insulting to depict all humans as white, so is it the same for unicorns. Yes, unicorns are real. We just don't always recognize them as they are disguised in human form. A person who is a unicorn is sturdy and strongly built. They are born evil-fighters--this is not something they have been taught, though throughout life they learn to hone their natural skills.
