Rant of the Week

Greetings. There are many schools of thought on magic and mysticism. All of them are geared towards manifestation in one way or another. There are schools that bend towards the fantastic such as actually believing that you could shoot physical flames from your hand while still existing in a third-dimensional reality. And those that believe that bouncing up and down on your behind on a mattress or mat is actually a form of levitation… There are also those schools of mysticism that portend that we co-create with God or Goddess and thus vaunt ourselves to the majestic throne of demigod-ism. Introduction to the 5 Minds

Now that you have been introduced to the bodies (see the “Introduction to the 5 Bodies” post) it is time to be introduced to your minds. The five bodies correspond to five minds, and function uniquely and simultaneously. It has been said that we as human beings only use fifteen percent of our brains, but this also is a scientific faux pas. A theory has been introduced and quoted, in regards to something as simple as a candy bar, that the whole is greater than the sum total of its parts. But you need the parts in order for the whole to be, therefore, we can conclude that the brain is being used in its entirety in order for it to function correctly at all. Introduction to the 5 Bodies

What is Magic? This question has puzzled both student and teacher for ages, and will continue to do so for ages to come, as it can never quite be answered entirely. Not only is it the ability to manifest, un-manifest and manipulate, but it is also the ability to understand that which is unseen, and by some creative means, bring into a state of tangibility-if only for moments-that which was not there.
